August 20th brings Halo 4 gamers the addition of a new War Games gametype, the Bullseye Map Pack with two new maps, and various skins, armor and stances available for purchase. Pitfall is a remake of The Pit (see flythrough video below) and Vertigo is a brand new map featuring sweeping, stormy waterfront views and cliffside greenery.

The Halo 4 Champions Bundle will be available for 800 Microsoft points for all content, or you can purchase the maps and other content separately. Richochet, the new gametype, is being referred to as “combat basketball”. Playing similar to Neutral Bomb, in a new twist gamers will have the option to score by throwing the ball into the score zone, however this will result in less points than if the ball holder runs into the goal with the ball. The Richochet game mode will only be available in the first two weeks to those who have purchased The Bullseye Pack, after which it will be available to everyone in Halo 4 War Games.
The Infinity Armor Pack includes the Prefect, a Forerunner-look armor, Mark V and ODST armors. Another Forerunner looking armor set, Richochet, is included in the Map Pack.
The Steel Skin Pack includes gold or steampunk versions of all loadout weapons, with additional skins available to bundle purchasers. Other extras that come with the Halo 4 Champions Bundle include additional Armor and Weapons skins and Stances.
Each pack will be available separately for 240 Microsoft points, but you’ll get more bang for your buck and the extras by purchasing the entire Champions Bundle.
