Halo 4 Weapons Tweak Update

In this week’s “The Halo Bulletin”, Bravo breaks down the recent changes that have been made in testing, and the decision that has been made to bump up the primary weapons to more closely compete with the DMR.

In fact to may gamers’ excitement, we may soon see a 4-shot BR with a reduced rate of fire.

In this testing phase the Light Rifle’s reticule is tuned to register a headshot at the same distance at the DMR and the Carbine takes one less shot to kill, and due to these changes the automatic weapons have received a damage boost as well, with a decrease to their auto-aim that forces players to use more skill.

Vehicles are seeing some changes too, with the Warthog and Mantis getting a boost to their chain guns to invite players to take advantage of them more often.

The Beam Rifle may see a decrease in it’s aim-assist.

Bravo and Bs Angel are quick to point out in The Bulletin that these tweaks aren’t final and that the testing process is a work in progress and promise to provide weekly updates about it’s current status.
