A couple of weeks back during pre-game chat, WCF Cypher brought up that the White House had turned down America’s request for our government to fund and build Earth’s own Death Star. See, if We the People get 100,000 signatures on any petition, the White House is required to look at it. The petition for the Death Star was written, and the White House turned it down in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek fashion, titled “This Isn’t the Petition Response You’re Looking For”.

But was this petition that WCF Derp calls “The Ultimate Troll” end of story? Not quite.
Death Star has been revived on Kickstarter.
The Kickstarter fund for the Death Star is at around $31 million, as reported on NBCnews.com, far short of the $850,000,000,000,000,000 estimated by The Whitehouse that it would take to create such a weapon, and $31,000 has been pledged so far.
The Goal? “£20,000,000 for more detailed plans and enough chicken wire to protect reactor exhaust ports.”
Risks? “The only risk is the power of the Force.”
