Halo 4: Castle Map Pack – “Perdition” and “Daybreak” Walkthroughs

Mike Clopper, Lead Level Designer for Certain Affinity, and Lori Zawada, Lead Environment Artist for Certain Affinity, continue the walkthroughs on the Halo 4 Castle Map Pack maps, giving tips and tricks to gameplay along the way.

Perdition takes place in the darkened, city-scape slums at the bottom of high-rises of the elite. Once the framework of a Halo:REACH Anniversary map that didn’t make it into the release, Perdition has gone through other possibilities before becoming the map it is today.

Daybreak has features similar to High Ground, and although it’s not symmetrical, Certain Affinity assures us the map lends itself well to multi-flag and that the differences for each team in map navigation equal out.
