Finished this a while back but forgot to upload my last couple screens. Game is beautiful, but I couldn’t wait for it to be over.

avatars:  When i make avatars, the only ones that aren’t cut off by the HD cropping tool after the image is uploaded are square images (150×150, 50×50, etc).  Whenver I make one that is rectangle, the HD cropping tool cuts off part of the image regardless of the image size.

What is the max size, in pixels, for an avatar?

Yeah, my internet was being all bitchy because of the storms coming through. So I gave-up and watched TV.

Worm is spot-on. I can’t really add much other than to say that each game’s engine will be running depending on the map selected. Meaning, if we are in the MM lobby and vote for The Pit, Halo 3 – then Halo 3’s engine will load and we’ll play the game.

I just did not like the “way” the games played now….  trust me, it was not because I did not like “those” older games.

I logged 100x more hours playing Halo 2 and 3 than I did or will ever do in Reach or H4…

I can’t give more science based answers than upscaling, anti-aliasing and 1920×1080 wizardry.  A better explanation may be in the Tabasco.

Yukon, what do you think of this collection since you have previously mentioned a preference for not playing the older Halo games?

It’s going to look glorious.  Pop in your CEA disc, load up campaign in Classic mode.  It’s beautiful.  It’s better looking than the updated version.   I’m sure MCC is  going to be upscaled properly and have anti-aliasing (getting rid of jaggies) applied to it.
