OMG! The saga continues. So, did I ever say in here that my cap card came in a box with no padding? If “ya”, did I tell you I basically got accused of lying about it when I reported it to them?

Well, after dealing with the stupidity on the “help” forums at Roxio, I had to deal with the suspicious and greedy nature of the company where I bought it. See, I made the mistake of opting for lower price instead of going with a well-known company, learn from my mistake, kiddies, learn from my mistake. Because it’s bad enough my time and money are being wasted, no one deserves to go through the shit I’ve been through in the last few weeks over this garbage.

Now, we’ve culminated in a report to the Better Business Bureau. Yep, it’s come to that, because I just sent the Roxio off this morning, and now they’re telling me that not only aren’t they going to replace it, THEY’RE GOING TO CHARGE ME TO SHIP IT BACK. Asshats.

Can you imagine my frustration?

I’d post the whole exchange up if I knew whether or not it was legal. I can say I have emails to prove I kept in touch with them every step of the way of trying to make this work. I have their lead sales dude basically calling me a liar in an email. I have photos of the box it came in and you can clearly see there is no room for packaging, so they can’t even say I threw it out or something.

If I’ve seemed a little ‘off’ in the last few weeks, it’s probably because of all the time I’ve spent trying to resolve this before the deadline. I mean, seriously, I spent upwards of 40 hours trying to figure out how to get this P.O.S. to work. The software is glitchy and buggy and in the end it was also the hardware itself causing an issue because it couldn’t recognize the HDMI cable.
