I would like an active gaming site where the hours of effort I put forth is returned either in being useful or entertaining for people.

“Active” would be 10 or more people posting in the forums a day, 20-50+ people visiting the forums a day, and 1000-5000+ unique visitors to the entire site a day. Videos posted on YouTube would get at least 500 views in the first week due to our notoriety. <Just to give you a place of reference, a vid posted by one popular Halo-themed YouTuber three days ago has 2500 views already, whereas the most views any of my videos have gotten is 1500 total. Most of them don’t break 300 views, and I’m not talking about the “let’s play” videos, I’m talking about the ones I spent hours and hours on.

Unbelievably, the Epic Holiday RACE video, which has custom music that was recorded and mixed for it, has less than 300 views :( This definitely does not feel like success, and does not encourage me to make more videos. This is a BADASS video, showcasing three gamers’ skills: Kenjamin’s maps, Mace’s shredding guitar, and my editing. Edit: All my videos are quality and uploaded in high def.

The absolute perfect gaming site for me personally would be one where we had so many active friends that some were attracted to the site who were willing to take over some of the responsibilities. Especially, it would be awesome if someone like Waggs and Wizard were to come host casual customs that were open to all. Then it would be cool if we could get in someone like Wadliacha or StainedWithRed to run a clan that is open to some of the younger crowd. Then we get someone running casual-competitive customs and someone to train people who are willing to learn, but maybe aren’t very competitive. This would leave me open to focus on more competitive-oriented customs and training without leaving anyone out.

If enough people were attracted to the site that I had help editing video, coming up with ideas (a team, really), a news team, etc., I personally would be in absolute heaven. Two of my favorite things: creating videos with a team, and training and playing competitively with other people who match or exceed my own abilities. Those things make me happy, but I don’t like playing that hard all the time, and like to be surrounded by all kinds of active people, so something for everyone would be good.

So I’m willing to try what might bring in the people, because I feel that once the people are here the other stuff could fall into place. The numbers above is what I think it would take, I just have no idea how to pull it off.

Others have also mentioned their own gaming needs and desires, and these things would all be more possible with higher numbers.
