So I found a huge, velvety ball and I was like “Hey, THAT’S not a soccer ball!”

Then I proceeded to play with it for ten minutes, lol. You’re right, it’s fun. Did see the soccer ball the next day and kicked that around, too.

I’m just going to cut and past here a bit I wrote over in the Casually Competitive FaceBook private group, because I don’t want to take the time to sum it up again but I’d like to add it here.

I really don’t like the graphics and it just doesn’t feel like anything special to me. As I’m playing it, I can imagine that it was created by an up-and-coming company I’ve never heard of; it does not feel like something the creators of the Most Spectacular Game in the Universe, Halo, would have created.

I guess to add to that, there also wasn’t much to amuse or delight me, like Borderlands and other games including Halo have done. I found it repetitive, and the enemies all pretty much looked the same.

I realize it all sounds very negative, but I feel very rational about it all.

On a positive note, I’ve had a blast interacting with people on the Tower, with a couple of things that have popped up, like a big velvety black-purple ball that behaved similar to a helium-filled balloon. Of course some little bastard had to come along and kick it off the map. On purpose. Fucking griefers.

To add to that, I was bitching on Twitter this morning about how all the snipers remind me of post-release Halo 4, lol. Too many power weapons.

I don’t think I want to continue playing video games if the dev’s can’t find a way to separate out griefers and red-bar people. Don’t want to continue spending valuable life-time and money in experiences like that. The frustration bleeds into my everyday life when I spend hours in a hobby frustrated, and I can’t just go play colorful games like w0rm does, because, frankly, I just don’t enjoy them. (although the screenshots are VERY pretty to look at ;) )
