What you guys are talking about is exactly what has brought fps games away from team play: rewarding the individual player. This is exactly why I stuck with Halo, because when I went to go play CoD or Battlefield, there was less team play, less team cohesion than what I had learned to love in Halo 3.

Good thing I prefer Objective, where your ranks will be determined based on TEAM success over individual scoring. One more thing they need to nail down to make Objective games more populated: they need to not merge total K/D from Objective games with Slayer games. This would greatly reduce the griefing that chases their beloved casuals from that playlist. Well, that and actually ranking us appropriately ;) Looking forward to seeing if THAT actually works, which I highly doubt it will be any different of an experience than how our True Skill is ranking us now, but I’d absolutely love to be proved wrong.
