Here’s the second attempt, haven’t listened to it yet, so if anyone does and it’s ok, please post up and let me know. I have no idea why the corruption is happening, but the good news is I think I got most of the echoes out.

Ok, here’s where we sit with the Skype: Xbox One apparently mutes all chat audio coming out the USB if you are on dashboard, and anywhere else (ie: in games) is too noisy. This includes Skype. So I don’t see how it can be possible for me to capture the podcast over the Xbox One at this time.

Hey, Edie and Mike, could you guys take a listen to a couple minutes of your recordings and see if you get the feedback? I’d like to rule out if anomalies occurred in the file transfers. It’s just really strange to me that you could sound so clear in Skype, but the recordings be so off.

So I’ve taken a quick listen to Edie’s and Mike’s files, and we’ve got some pretty major issues with both. Edie, your mic recording is so quiet, I can barely hear you. Great idea with Google docs. I mean, I own a website, I can upload it and link you to the download, but this way it’s all w/ the files and easily deleteable etc. Here’s the link:

Tuesday is a go. We’re shooting for 5:30pm P/8:30pm E? We were doing a half hour earlier than that, right? If everyone could do a mic check and recording check ahead of time, that would be awesome.
