That’s a slight exaggeration. The only thing I have “argued” about is you guys telling me to turn my Windows updates off, certainly no reason to stop helping someone.

There is an update to this issue. I’ve notice that when I click on the “Quality” slider, all of a sudden it shows a second of preview. But what’s more interesting is that the Roxio hardware has the HDMI light on when I hook up the HDMI cable, but after a minute or so it switches over to “YPbPr”, and then the software says I’m using “Component”. I have tested my HDMI cable on two different other units and it works fine. I have also gotten another HDMI cable and this strange behavior continues.

Anyone ever heard of this before? It seems to me that my Roxio hardware is faulty.

Is there *any* way to contact Roxio without paying?
