It might have been someone’s connection in your party. We had trouble finding a BTB game once, it took a little over 8 minutes, but after that it wasn’t really a problem.
They said in the rank details in this week’s Bulletin that they were implementing the search restrictions that match based on “team rank” as soon as possible, maybe it’s that. Did you have an extremely large range of skill in your party? That seemed to affect search times in REACH, but it shouldn’t in Halo 4 since they’re basically using an average of your team’s True Skill rank. It was probably them tweaking the system, and said system attempting to match fairly, just a guess tho.
