Every BTB map that isn’t Headlong, Ridgeline/Timberland, or Trident.
Special shout outs to Boneyard for being all-around bad, and Wayont for being an awful objective map.
No love for Blood Gulch (Hemmorage or whatever it is called now)?
I personally hate Spire as I have issues with navigating the Spire.
Played on Midas last night and didn’t think it was too bad.
Hemmorhage is too big and the DMR has too much range for that map to be fun. Ground pounders can’t do anything because you get pinged from all over the map. Throw some cover in the middle of the map and it might work better.
It’s been a while since I’ve played a proper big team game on the original Blood Gulch but I remember the terrain providing a lot more cover than Hemmo. Blood Gulch worked in part because the pistol only had a 2x zoom, plus the map was a bit smaller. The sniper rifle wasn’t as dominant on Gulch either.
I do know that Halo 1 had indestructible vehicles, so there was never a period when you were waiting for them to spawn, you just had to get them back. Indestructible vehicles helps keep the pace of the game up. There is never a period where both teams are sitting in their respective bases waiting for vehicles to spawn.
Jetpack abuse on Hemmorhage. :blue:
Spire is an unorganized mess.
Midas looks like a map that even I could forge. :omg: I’ve spent half of my time on Midas looking for opponents. Midas probably could be a BTB map.
