Currently phening that I can’t play Halo. Thinking about imposing on some friends to set up in their living room, lol. On a positive note, because I’m not playing Halo I am experiencing other things in life, including catching a viewing of the new version of Total Recall. Impressions? Well, not bad, not bad. It’s not the same as the Arnold version, doesn’t even follow the same story line, but it was engaging enough and visual enough to make me forget I couldn’t play Halo. For awhile… The futuristic cities were reminiscent of those found in that Harrison Ford movie with Darryl Hannah (I can’t believe I can’t remember the name of that damn movie) and the chick from the other movie with the guy who played Wolverine (sheesh, I guess no Halo = no brain function) was a psycho. She scares me. But I was hoping for an epic [spoil alert: spoiler doesn’t function…] chick battle at the end like the older version of Total Recall, but better because it would be two chicks that are badasses, but that was a no go.
