Flood details from HBO forums (I think I’ll have some vids posted on frontside in a bit too…)

It was pretty damn good fun actually – similar to standard infection although both sides had access to loadouts and different armour abilities.

For the Flood, it was thrusters, PV and AC. The humans had PV, AC and 1 more I can’t for the life of me remember (it wasn’t thrusters)

Points to note:

The Flood do make their standard ‘flood’ sound in the mode.
The Flood do jump considerably higher than spartans.

As an aside – medals WERE in the game (I saw a few posts commenting on the apparent lack of medals but they were definitely there today.

I also watched some other gameplay (the queue was ridiculously long as you’d expect so I only went on the once) – it all looked really sharp and I can’t wait to get into it.

I did ANNOYINGLY miss the Halo 4 conference with Frankie – got in a little late so I couldn’t get in – I watched a bit of a stream and it seemed like some campaign footage was being demo-ed.

The rest of Eurogamer was pretty solid – played Far Cry 3 among others which was quite good.

They also had a retro section and lo and behold Halo 2 was in there – had a laugh playing Lockout :D – it was hilarious that, despite all the new shiny games present at the expo, there was still a large crowd around Halo 2.
