Holy cow! That’s freakin’ awesome!! I totally would have checked that out. I think one of the reasons I like Halo is because I am mildly fascinated with the universe. Recently I’ve been pestering the Hubble team to cough up some images that would look more “real”, or what we would see, as I put it, “with the naked eye if they were in our neighborhood”. It bugs me that all the sci-fi movies use the images, which although are incredible and beautiful, are not realistic. Then again, what about sci-fi is – – other than the cold, hard science that is used in supposing what the future would be like :D

…which in my opinion could include realistic images…

……………………………..…then again what would be the fun in action movies where the hero doesn’t survive the fall/car crash/etc etc etc, realism is overrated.
