Screenshot comparisons would’ve been nice in the article, for those such as myself that know nothing of what it’s like sans mod.

Skyrim sans mods compared to those pics of the modded version is night and day. Skyrim looks good from a distance but not at all good up close. It’s a collective goodness. If you focus on individual parts of the visuals, they tend to be pretty ugly. Those pics of the modded version are amazing. I can’t imagine seeing Skyrim look like that while playing.
