Iron Gaming Hosts First Open MCC Tourney in Dec
Iron Games Columbus is now an Official Halo Championship Series event, and will award participating teams HCS points.
Hosted by Halo eSports legends Bravo, Goldenboy, and Walshy among others, Iron Gaming’s $10,000 tournament promises to be the ultimate gamer bash, including DJ’s who will be mixing music to match the gameplay.

Halo 5: Guardians Beta Video
Halo 5: Guardians – Midship
A video has been released for Halo 5: Guardians, which starts for gamers this December 29th, 2014 as a beta. The beta will be available through Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
According to the video, included in the Halo 5: Guardians beta are seven maps with three game modes, eleven sandbox weapons and seven armor sets with customizations. Like Halo games of old, Spartans will start off on equal ground with “fair starts”, where everyone has the same loadouts.
Gamers will also be able to unlock and keep elements of the game, bringing them into Guardians when it’s released.

Xbox One Presents Challenges for eSports
Halo: The Master Chief Collection releases November 11th, 2014. In a few measly months, gamers will have the chance to see what Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3 was meant to look like by the artists who worked hard to create the visuals, since the original Xbox and Xbox 360 were not equipped to fully display the code that was written for them.
The Master Chief Collection will be released on the Xbox One only, and the buzz is getting louder in the diehard Halo community as people remember what it was like to compete in and watch tourneys of truly well-balanced, competitive shooters.
Leagues are being set up across the globe in anticipation, requiring vast amounts of man hours and resources to accomplish, in order to give the people what they have been craving for so many years: The active return of Halo to eSports.
