Things that make you go hmm, hardy-har, wtf, and lolz. All Halo related.

Journey of a Halo/Destiny Banner

One of the things I see a lot in Halo communities is people helping and giving to one another. Sometimes there’s “something in it”, like recognition or generation of new content, but you can really see it in some community leaders and creators that they are simply givers at heart. I myself am a giver, and I find great joy…

MMHC – BIGBADBALLMAN

Rock out in this week’s MMHC video with BIGBADBALLMAN, Yukon’s custom MMHC Oddball variant. (Download below)

WATCH IN HD!

MMHC is a Halo Diehards group started by Yukon46, and stands for “MatchMaking Haters Club”. The group is exclusive and centers around the more “traditional” flavor of the Halo gametypes, using Official MMHC-created games in a mix of slayer, objective and occasional “fun game”. Mellow, friendly gamers of all skill levels are welcome, although the majority of our participants fit in the 30+ yr old competitive-casual category.

Looking for some low-key, groovin’, Halo 4 gaming fun that’s aged to perfection? Come join Halo Diehards MMHC Group for some custom game action. If you feel like chillin’ with the Old School, send an invite & message “MMHC” to: ‘AA HaloDiehards’ or ‘YUKON46’ ahead of time, and let YUKON46 or AddiCt3d 2CHa0s know you’re out there. Again, participants are in the 30+ yr old age group and easy to get along with.

Come introduce yourself in Yukon’s Official MMHC thread at Halo Diehards Forums >>

We don’t bite, but we’ll probably shoot you in the face ;)

It’s not Halo, but damn it’s cool! Laser Data & Energy Transmission

When Apollo 8 captured the first “Earth rise” from the moon in 1968, it took days for the footage to reach Earth so the crew could share it with the world. Using lasers, hundreds of such images could be sent to Earth from that distance every second. The Lunar Laser Communications Demonstration (LLCD) is a NASA project that was built…

It’s not Halo, but damn it’s cool! Space Exploration Map

“Fifty Years of Exploration” is a poster created by Sean McNaughton and Samuel Velesco. It depicts every space mission that mankind has embarked upon up to 2008 (when the poster was created). It’s been around for awhile and the map is not to scale, but it’s new to my eyes and simply fantastic to gaze upon. Enjoy! Thanks, @Kris_Tribal, for…

I can’t know for sure, but past experience tells me it was most probably…
