Halo Diehards H5 Clip Chips

Recently I realized that it’s easier than ever to upload clips and share them from YouTube. Like I’ve covered before, Halo 5 video clips taken by the Xbox One DVR are automatically available for anyone to view or download from XboxDVR.com. But what I didn’t know until recently is that you can also easily upload them to YouTube without downloading them, with the push of a button if you make a free account.

And so Halo Diehards Clip Chips was born (Quick Clips was already taken!) The following playlist, which is also available on our Halo Diehards Video page will update as clips are added. Any Halo Diehards members or gaming buddies who’d like to have their clips added to the playlist, or even feature your own active playlist at our site, contact me and we’ll work out the deets!

What?! No Big Team Battle in Halo 5?!!

So first we learn that Halo 5, unlike previous installments, will not have split screen capability, and now we find out it’s not dropping with Big Team Battle either?! I don’t know about you, but my excitement for Halo 5 is tinged with a teeny bit of sadness. Out with the old, in with the new? Warzone, Halo 5’s new…

Halo 5: Guardians Wargames Gameplay – Flag Juggling Has Returned!!

Halo 5: Guardians drops October 27, 2015. Just over two months from now, we’ll get our gritty mjolnir mitts on it. In the meantime, the ‘net is full of videos and information, for those not concerned with spoilers. Check out several videos below, Wargames followed by a Campaign sneak peek, shared by Vincent Torre over at Casually Competitive Customs on FaceBook, a closed group primarily consisting of talented Halo Forgers. Thanks, Vince!

I’m really digging the parkour elements of Halo 5, and appreciate the return of ledges and other tricky playspaces that will allow us to creatively navigate the new maps, by hiding, sneaking past battles to reach an objective, and flanking the enemy. I’m especially excited that flag juggling has returned!

In the fourth video below, see our first view of the War Games map, Colosseum, featuring gameplay by pro teams Epsilon ESports vs Optic Gaming. This video showcases the efforts 343 has put into bringing Halo back into ESports, and the tools now available to increase the effectiveness of the viewer experience.

Don’t forget to check out some Halo 5 Campaign gameplay in the bottom video. Dat Hunter…

Will Halo 5 Warzone be an Epic Experience?

With Halo 5 set to release in just a few months, the hype is reaching an all-time high. One of the new gametypes fans can look forward to is Warzone, a 12 vs 12 big team battle that mixes PvP with PvE.

Each round of Warzone includes different gametypes that gamers of all playstyles can focus on. Each Warzone includes boss battles as well as base captures, all ways a team can increase their score and work for the win.

Mechs are back, as well as Warthogs, and both can be obtained by taking over the middle of three bases.

Check out this ViDoc on Warzone by Xbox, following by gameplay of Halo 5’s Warzone by IGN.

Best of CHa0s Plays Halo 5 beta, Multiplayer

I was cleaning out my videos recently, when I found a few games that I’d captured while playing the Halo 5 beta. Here are three of the best. I had a lot of fun in these games, even though I was still figuring out the button combos/special moves, etc. You’ll also notice my voice is pretty quiet in the videos, since the Halo 5 beta audio was significantly louder than other games on the market.
