I’ve played a teeny bit of campaign and multiplayer. Always takes awhile for me to get into a new game, because I get frustrated by all the new controls, etc. but just like the beta, so far, so good. Haven’t played any Warzone yet, but I’m sure it will become a fav. SO looking forward to gaming with all yous fine peeps, it’s been too long!

Ok then. I understand ppl are getting mad at MS (whole xbone case) and generaly at todays business model, but i dont agree with this one. Halo not having local coop is a very bad thing, but i think you are really looking into it too much. Xbone has a weak hardware and this time, i do believe, given that H5 has much higher graphical fidelity and 60 FPS, it is not possible to render 2 screens at the same time without huge fps drops. That would not only make the xbone (and the H5) look bad but it would also very possibly (as Frankie mentioned) affected the gameplay in many more ways (bad shot registering, animation delays, etc). So again, it is shit to not have local coop, but i dont think its becouse MS wants to make more money.

Is it frustrating? Yes, absolutely. I think that any long-term Halo fan would agree with you in that regard. However, is it a blatant attempt to potentially squeeze more money out of the franchise? That seems rather unlikely.
Keep in mind that this is the same team (Bonnie Ross and friends) that has gone to great lengths to appease the dedicated fans who were understandably frustrated with the Halo MCC launch. If they were genuinely focused upon milking the Halo series for every penny, they wouldn’t have announced that all of the upcoming Halo 5 DLC would be free-of-charge to everyone. That was an admirable move, pleasantly unexpected, and will help avoid splitting the matchmaking population.
Also, a lack of split-screen capabilities isn’t uncommon amongst high profile FPS games in recent years. Respawn’s freshman effort with Titanfall produced a record-setting number of Game Critics awards at E3 two years ago, along with a Metacritic score of 86 following its release. Last but not least, despite a Bungie pedigree even the beloved Destiny doesn’t have a split-screen option! ;-)

I hate the map they were showing us! They brought up some valuable points that I’m gonna have to try out!
This is one of my all-time favorite maps. I’m really glad to see that the new abilities haven’t broken it. I’m actually enjoying it even more with the boost and clamber abilities.
