I was cleaning out my videos recently, when I found a few games that I’d captured while playing the Halo 5 beta. Here are three of the best. I had a lot of fun in these games, even though I was still figuring out the button combos/special moves, etc. You’ll also notice my voice is pretty quiet in the videos, since the Halo 5 beta audio was significantly louder than other games on the market.

Halo 5: Guardians Beta Video

Halo 5: Guardians – Midship

 

A video has been released for Halo 5: Guardians, which starts for gamers this December 29th, 2014 as a beta. The beta will be available through Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

According to the video, included in the Halo 5: Guardians beta are seven maps with three game modes, eleven sandbox weapons and seven armor sets with customizations. Like Halo games of old, Spartans will start off on equal ground with “fair starts”, where everyone has the same loadouts.

Gamers will also be able to unlock and keep elements of the game, bringing them into Guardians when it’s released.

So… the weirdest thing happened last night in Halo 4. We had two in our queue as we joined a 4v4 game of Infinity Slayer, and as the game loaded up one guy from each team left. “Join in Progress” kicks in, but this time, it puts both guys on the same team…

Red PIague and ChaoticLucidity of Halo Diehards Monday Tryhards hit Halo 4 War Games a few days ago, and matchmaking gave up trying to give them their other two players!
